Parkinson’s Disease Management: Strategies for Living Well

Parkinson’s In Motion is excited to host “Parkinson’s Disease Management: Strategies for Living Well” which will be taught by Janet Greene. Janet is a passionate healthcare professional with over 10 years of experience in patient advocacy and wellness. She has served the Parkinson’s community since her diagnosis in 2010. Janet has served as a patient liaison, guest speaker and frequent guest on statewide television and radio stations with a message of hope and strategies for delaying the progression of Parkinson’s disease.

Parkinson’s Disease is a complex neurological disorder that affects individuals in unique ways, from movement to emotions to cognition. In this class, you’ll gain a better understanding of Parkinson’s and learn strategies for managing symptoms through medication, medical procedures, and most importantly, an active and positive lifestyle. Janet will share her personal experience and provide insights on how you can take an active role in your own wellness, empowering both patients and caregivers. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or looking for ways to improve your quality of life, this class will provide valuable resources to help you live well today and for many years to come. This program will conclude with a light lunch.
